I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Entrepreneurship. As an exposure in my course, I gained relevant training and work experiences in managing a business venture – a creative exercise that developed my business acumen and enhanced my organizational, technical and interpersonal skills. Also, I have gained excellent rating in my business research and planning class in completing the marketing, financial, operational and management aspects of our Income Generating Project in the course. During my college years, I have been very active in volunteer works and held positions in different school organizations. These extra-curricular activities which I have involved myself with helped me to gain skills and knowledge that I used to contribute significantly to the successful implementation of the organizations’ projects and activities. I was awarded as one of the Ten Outstanding Students in Bicol 2011. Since I have been involved and got a lot of learnings in many community development and outreach activities in college, I chose to be part of NGO’s working to bring positive impacts to our society. I became a documenter of Caceres Social Action Foundation, Inc. for a project that aimed to uplift the lives of residents in coastal areas through livelihood, education, and health programs. I worked as a Program Officer for Occupational Trainings at the Kolping Society Philippines, Inc. Kolping is a Catholic lay organization with programs that cater to the underprivileged members of the society by giving them formation, livelihood and technical skills trainings.
